TLDR; Do you want a book with Spaceships, and Dragons? Because this has Spaceships and Dragons… Do you really need to know more than that?
This is an easy recommendation, Charlie is, ironically, very lucky. Rather than getting torn apart when an experiment goes wrong, he gets warped to a different galaxy, where he has a series of lucky breaks, i.e. he doesn’t die. If you generally enjoy Sci-Fi you’ll enjoy this, and Gary Bennett does a great narration so it’s very pleasant on the ears.
