I read fantasy mainly for the fun of it and often this fit the bill, but often as not the plot and characters were so confusing as to spawn an headache and the full of guts and gore violence often gratuitous just turned my stomach. It had plenty of twists and turns and JS Morin in his use of humor of humor is outrageous. I have read all 85 hours of the Galaxy series and much preferred that as the characters were just more believable. It seems perhaps that JS Morin this tortured plot seemed to be over stretching for affect.

The reader here was incredible as he was forced to keep a host of characters in mind jumping from character to character without pause. That he was able to do so was perhaps the only reason I could get through this craziness.
