Gave up half way thru.

You can’t beat 34 hours for 1 credit, but if the book is blah, that’s 34 hours of blah. I kept trying and pushed myself for 17 hours but finally gave up.

I love sci-fi, but it has to be believable. This is not. Too many glaring plot-holes, and too many times they’d come up with some new technology at the last second that they didn’t know they had.

But the biggest problem with this series is that none of characters are particularly likable. I wasn’t cheering for anyone. I couldn’t get invested in anyone, including the main character.
