This was a truely enjoyable romp with plenty of action and some purely silly moments. The USSF (Space Force) is on its way out after the President who started it is voted out. It also doesnt help that the commanding officer Capt Stone has issues with the General who shows up to escort them off there one and only base. One of the silliest moments to me was the alien challenge via a text message to the smartphones of the military. Guess whose fingers were fastest on the reply. What follows is a Battle Royale for the planet. I hate to give away much more but 80’s and 90’s reference usually arent well made but the ones here are pretty spot on in my opinion. Final thoughts about this book. The Bus driver is AWESOME!! Dont piss off Greta, and I never thought Choat would make me giggle as much as it did. Oh and I am sorry for the Canadians.
