Everyone in this book is bone-jarringly stupid. The plot is bad and the characters are so dumb and short-sighted that it was sometimes hard to listen to. Performance was just fine considering what the narrator had to work with. At $5 for 85 hours it’s not a bad deal. The only thing this has in common with Firefly is that both have criminals on a spaceship.
