Dragon King Charlie is a good continuation of the series. This book moves a little slower, but it picks up quite a bit towards the end. We spend quite a bit of time following the main characters doing day to day stuff, but most of it pays off later in the story. We do get to know the characters a lot better because of this, and the author is doing a great job fleshing the other characters out. The narrator does a decent job, and he does distinct enough voices for all of the characters, but it sounded like he dropped the accent in the middle of a sentence a couple of times. Overall, this has been the funniest book of the series so far, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what kind of shenanigans Charlie and crew get up to in book 4.
