I am an avid reader of cozy mysteries, and I instantly fell in love with the characters and charm of this series. Although it’s a short-ish book, it is a full story that really builds the personality of the core characters very well. I was invested in the everyone, including some of the side characters such as Sarah. The narration made everyone feel personable and unique, and the mystery was really well done. By the end I suspected who the killer was, but I was thrown off the whole time until the very end. I am really looking forward to continuing the story with future installments!
