The story is interesting and fun enough, but the book suffers from some real amateur feeling issues with tone, narrative, and storytelling. I also felt the narrator, while doing a good job in his own right, fails to do the book justice. It’s obvious humor is supposed to be a part of the narrative but the performance feels a little too nonchalant for my tastes.
