When Maura Monroe’s husband passed away, she quit her demanding sales job, and traded in her Lexus for a Jeep. After several months of wandering, she arrives in Danger Cove. When Maura finds a dead body in a rental property she’s visiting, she is thrown into a murder mystery.
This story has a lot going for it. I really like Maura because her back story gives her depth and dimension, and she demonstrates care and compassion toward everyone. There are a few plot threads that keep the story interesting – Maura getting settled in town and making friends, starting a business, trying different recipes, and investigations.
I enjoyed this story a lot.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
