This was a book that I really had a good time listening to. The book deals with a “protagonist” who is a villain and helps villains from other realms from a variety of dimensions. Think a villain guru. He gets double crossed and ends up fighting his way through a fantasy realm as he seeks revenge. The MC has a series of rules that he follows and uses to help him along. The book makes fun of all of the fantasy tropes and our MC is aware of the tropes and how to play them to his advantage. Just like I’ve said before with CT Phipps, the book isn’t going to win a Pulitzer but it isn’t trying to!
