Book 2 of the “A Snake’s Life” series is fun, fast-paced and lets you continue rooting for the anti-hero. Many of the characters, even the nomial “good guys” aren’t necessarily nice or good people, but they are relatable and believable. The last few chapters seem to go rather quickly and the end feels a bit abrupt, but as this is not the last book in the series I am sure that the next book will pick up where this left off and bring even more of Torga and his family’s stories.
