Narration was on point. the story had some meh moments. It did have one little surprise. It wasn’t a huge mystery, but it pulled me deeper into the story. The end threw a little foreshadowing that made me groan. I hope it pans out to be a good one, I sadly think the author gave himself a get out of jail free card for the next big MC conflict. I just hope I’m wrong.
Overall, though, there was a decent story, and it had me captivated in some moments while bored in others. Had a few “of course he can do that” moments. But that is the typical overpowered MC complex.
I’m not curious how it will progress, so I’m going to continue on with this series unless it gets too ridiculous.
