This is another book that I picked up purely on impulse. Let’s give credit where it’s due: It was the title. And the picture on the cover. But mostly the title. I started chuckling as soon as I read that much.
My quick appraisal of the book that it would be something related to RPG, and since I’ve been following another series in the same vein I thought I’d dive in here.
Everything about the book was completely unexpected. Who writes an RPG from the point of view of a monster? And especially a very weak low-level monster. It became better when the monster started leveling up based on human mistakes and pure dumb luck. By the time I realized that this wouldn’t be a simple kill for a group of adventurers I was completely hooked. Dang it. Another series! I just can’t stop starting new series all the time. I think my reading list is growing exponentially.
This book was definitely worth it. As soon as I clear the few books on my phone out, I’ll be getting the next book in the series. This gets a very high recommendation.
