This story is unusual and built in a vividly built world. The author does a great job of illustrating inequality (though the villain is cartoonish), and how dumb decisions can make a bad situation worse, and how much luck affects people’s lives. Also, the bonus chapter at the end is hilarious. I’d like to read more of the series.
