The way the author sends the reader back in time juuust enough to SHOW the past is perfect and well-executed and definitely grabbed my attention faster.

Audio:
The narrators are excellent, though the female narrator’s accent does trip me up at times, her voice is my absolute favorite to listen to—she really makes me feel like I’m listening to the character herself and not ‘just a narrator’. It really enhances the reading experience. And the overall sound quality is pure perfection.
