This was a delightful bit of escapism. This is a sort of guilty pleasure book, because you know you’re not going to be in for any big surprises, but it is a fun ride along the way. The author’s satirical take on superhero/villain tropes are worth a few chuckles, but he avoids getting into any deeper commentary.
