I’m not sure I knew what I expected when I started this series, but i wasn’t expecting them to be so funny! I absolutely love it when books can keep the humor mixed in with other things that are more serious in tone, especially when it’s the type of story where “everything is on the line” or the characters are “saving the world” etc. if the dramatic parts can still be dramatic and the humor and heat make sense in the story- it’s perfect. and Joel Leslie is fantastic at portraying so many different voices you forget this audio is only one narrator
