Verity Hawk is a widow of two years and a recluse. That changes when she receives a call from her aunt’s lawyer telling her hey Aunt is dead and she’s inherited her possessions. After a lot of consideration she decides to go. when she arrives at her aunt’s place she finds it run down and in setting serious need of repairs. She’s pushed into doing a lawn job she had no idea on how to do. hey temper flares after the woman who pushed her into the job makes snide comments. The woman is injured and then if found dead. Poor Verity is a suspect. Now she has to prove her innocence for the whole time as things turn darker and darker.
