Frighteningly realistic scenario.

This is a really fantastic series. I didn’t think I’d find a series in this genre that I liked more than 1 Second After, but this is a little better.

It’s better because it’s even MORE realistic than 1SA was. No EMP, just massive government mismanagement collapsing our economy and society. Then, all of the extreme government overreach that will follow as they power grab in the name of “getting a crisis under control”, and the massive amount of trampling on individuals’ rights, freedoms, and liberties in the process. And the willingness of much of the public to give up those freedoms in exchange for the perception of safety promised by mommy government.

I look around and see the seeds of it all around us right now. It’s an eye opening look into our not too distant future.
