I will probably sound like a total fanboy with this review, but I loved this book. C.T. Phipps takes a fresh approach to the MC, he has his own moral compass and when he does stupid things it is because he knows it is stupid but believes in doing it anyway. The book is also loaded with whitty banter and sarcasm that was very enjoyable. I mean, what’s not to like about sarcastic dialogue between a supervillain and his disapproving costume? Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys this genre.
Narration by Jeffrey Kafer is very well done and a nice fit. His voice blends smoothly with the image of the MC and he conveys a realistic level of emotion. Pacing is good as well.
