Traitorous Toys by Mildred Abbott is a delightful listen set in Estes Park, Colorado. I love the imagery the author writes in this Cozy Corgi Mystery series, and find the details spot on. As a yearly visitor to the real Estes Park, I enjoy the references to the river walk, the elk, and the shops descriptions. The character of Fred, a new shopkeeper, and her Corgi Watson are full of adventure. I really enjoy the performance of Angie Hickman with this book. She adds the right emotions and gives characters distinguishable voices. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator. Kudos to the author for not having the killer be obvious.
