This was such a fun read and I absolutely loved how Joel brought Frankie, Con, and all the other wonderful characters to life. Frankie met Con through his deceased husband and the two of them have been best friends for years. Their back and forth is so good and Lily Morton is incredible at writing sharp dialogue that conveys a wide range of feelings. Right when Frankie is ready to move on from his mourning, Con shows up with supposedly a new guy. Will these two even figure out that they’re perfect for each other!? Of course they do, though it is a bit of a journey to get there. It’s such a heart warming story and a beautiful take on the best friends to lovers trope. This story is for sure one to take a chance on and I love how we get to see other Lily characters pop up in the background!
