This is one of my series. One my second read I had to write a review. The world created by Forthright is so thoroughly imagined I feel I could step in easily. The idea of humans with animal traits is not new but the understanding that a tail twitch, a movement of eyes, or a down turn of ears can all have meanings humans can grasp is a new one for me. I found it fascinating. The rich culture of each clan is intriguing but also that each country’s clans and humans is presented as well and therefore much more believable. I love the voices from the narrator and it only adds to the story i stead of taking away. Give this series a read through twice and you will find the for shadowing, connections and depth. Love it!!
