I really liked this the more it gained steam. I cannot say it started slow, per se, but it didn’t fully gather its forces until about a third of the way through. The concept was great. I loved the idea of an incident that essentially turned an area into a quantum copier and every time it runs it peels copies of the current population from their current time and sticks them onto the new time period. It was odd for me to realize that all of the action happened right around the same area because so many conflicts occurred throughout the book. As is always the case with the books I have read/listened to by Jeremy Robinson, the writing was great, the gore was present, and a terrifying mythical beast smashed it’s way through the tale. I liked the ending as well. I started being a bit concerned that it was going to just end, but the way he finished it off made me smile. This was an audio book and Jeffrey Kafer did a fantastic job relaying the humor and horror of everything the characters went through. If I had my way, he would read for every one of Robinson’s books.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
