Complex, lots of details. I didn’t worry too much about keeping track, figured I’d just absorb it along the way. Narrator has good diction, which really helped. I also thought he sounded like Linden should. Although the premise is great, really fresh and interesting, well-written with good pacing, the world-building is just too intense for this reader who prefers character-driven stories. Also, this book is the beginning of a quest. I won’t be listening to any more in the series unless an unusual urge nudges me.
