I am very familiar with Brian hair and his work and really enjoy what work he has done. The first half of the book was a well told story trough the science of domestication and it is worth a good read. But to really enjoy the book I recommend stopping there. The second half of the book is him trying to wrap his clear social justice and politics vies into his work. It felt very out of place and forced and took a lot away from the overall story
