I liked this book starting out, but by half way through book 2 I was finding excuses to stop listening. I now despise the MC. He is a stuck up braggart who only exists to boost Coopers own ego as he blathers endless exposition, gag inducing cliches, and edgy one liners. If you like your main characters to have at least an ounce of wisdom before they start telling you how witty they are for making up a new middle school retort, avoid this series, Cherry Blossom “Girls”, and probably the rest of Harmon Cooper’s works. I gave him another chance and I regret it.
