Great job Bobby Adair and Phil Thron. From the start I could tell this was going to be different. Slow Burn was almost comical at times. It was on the lighter side, while dealing with very serious subjects like life, illness, death, and the breakdown of society. I loved the sarcasm used so effectively by all of the characters. Murphy consistently made me smile. Toward the end I almost felt sorry for Zed, being regularly chastised by those whose asses he saved.
Slow Burn is my all time favorite “post apocalyptic” series. It’s rare to have such a serious dark subject treated in a way that makes you feel good while and after listening.
Note to all current and aspiring future writers, (from a Glock armorer and user):
Glocks in general don’t commonly have a “click on/off safety”, as many think and write. They actually have 3 safeties that are quietly, sequentially disengaged when the trigger is pressed. If a cocked Glock clicks when disengaging the safeties it’s because it isn’t loaded. 🤣
