Great start to the series.
Has a lot in common with ‘The System Apocalypse’ though I like this main Character a bit better. In this series MC gets his shit together very quickly, which is always a plus for me. I really can’t stand a whiner. The game system ses to be well thought out and interesting, though I hope magic becomes less rigid in the next book.
I don’t want to go into too much detail so I’ll just say it’s worth a listen and point out that ‘Jeff Hayes’ one of the best narrators in the business voices 2 characters. One only shows up in 2-3 chapters, and one is a normal bear that didn’t show up until after hour 10. This one is very well made I must say.
