This is a title I have wanted in audio for a long long time. It is such a great book, and once you’ve read it (or listened to it), it remains as a constant reminder of the suffering souls who need our prayers. It also reminds us that we hope to some day be in their same position, having passed from Earth and in need of prayers for our purification before a Heavenly reward. The audio edition is better than hoped for, given that there are no photos of the Purgatory Museum artifacts. But the descriptions and backstories of the artifacts are presented in the full detail you find in the print edition (I recommend getting both). The narration is steady and treats the material with the gravity it merits. The stories and scenes in this book of the suffering souls who have appeared to the living can be chilling and inspiring all at the same time. I don’t know of another book out there quite like this one. Perfect reflection material for Halloween/All Souls Day.
