The series is providing diminishing returns, rehashing gags (Loren is a bad pilot, Mez lusts after Cal) and plots (the crew is framed for xyz catastrophe). This installment has a lot of filler, bridging the gap between the last book and the ongoing President Sinclair drama, which really only takes up 2-3 hours. This book is also disappointing because half the book separates the crew and leaves Cal in a rather dull bus-boy purgatory. I would have been upset if I’d blown a full credit on this.
