Feels like a first draft.

I can’t put into words how disappointed I am listening to this.

It started off strong with Jesse who despite her responsibilities in a post-apocalyptic world can not leave an alien to die was a strong and interesting start, but after the first act the plot starts to devolve. Things just happen, attitude change, the youngest sister is suddenly aged up. There is no world building, we are constantly being told things, over and over and over. The characters are two dimensional and the only thing that is ever described in detail are the sex scenes.

I don’t understand how this was so well received.
