I’ve enjoyed Brokhausen’s writing quite a bit. This latest book opened my eyes to a world that is seldom spoken of. It’s written with humour and insight, and the story traces its steps around some of the major events over the past 50 years. What a life!
Other reviewers have complained about the narration being a bit overdone. I can see understand where the criticism comes from but disagree. I thought the narrator was engaging and entertaining.
Seldom will I get through an audiobook in just a few days but this one did the trick.
