Another great installment in the Talbot’s Cove series. Brook & JJ’s angsty love-to-hate/hate-to-love you relationship comes across as hard and aggressive but they both need to hold on to their protective armor until the moment they realize it’s too heavy to maintain without being able to lean on each other.
Jeffrey Kafer’s narration at times seemed like a Walter Cronkite news delivery, but most of the time it fit JJ’s crotchety bar-keep character. Virginia Rose’s narration of Brooke was great.
