The only reason I purchased this book was due to a sale that was too good to refuse… That said, it is a much better book than I hoped it might be.
The narrator did a good job at this almost impossible cast, with only going annoying on a couple voices. I could almost visualize the main character’s display, not sure if that was due to the writing or the narration.
As a role-playing-game nut I was actively enjoying the character builds.
Strong recommendation towards those with RPG interests, but it’s a cute enough story, I’d recommend it to my non-gaming friends.
It’s a good story to remind that not all “supers” would necessarily fit into the 3 types (hero, villain, or vigilante).
A good light read of you are wanting cute but morally grey.
