So, I was really interested in this one based on the summary but I should have read the reviews and looked into the first book. This is book two but it does stand completely on it’s own. It is well written and definitely a fast paced fun read, although I was unaware that the romance was a lesbian one between a mortal girl and goddess… not judging but it’s simply not my thing. Brenda Wlazlo does a good job giving different voices to the characters (which I always appreciate), was simply very easy to listen to and I would listen to again in other books.
