I chanced upon this title whilst searching for a good sci fi to kill a rainy day with and was pleasantly surprised. The next thing I knew a week had elapsed and I had only paused briefly to heed the calls of nature and to snack once in a while. This book had absolutely captured me! It was so good that I never wanted it to end. The narrator is a consummate professional. I found it hard to believe that it was only one person delivering the performance. All the characters were so well fleshed out that I felt that I knew them all intimately and that they were all somehow family. I am now seriously having to deal with separation anxiety since I have reached the end. If you liked the tv show Firefly, you will absolutely love this book. I wholeheartedly submit that if you are fan of sci fi, this is a must-have! Give it a go. You will not be disappointed!
