I was instantly sucked into this story line of a girl on the run from her abusive husband seeking the chance to start over when she encounters a rich alpha businessman who would stop at nothing to get the woman who wanted absolutely nothing to do with him.
I absolutely loved this story line and these characters. Kinsley was strong and determined and real. I loved that she didn’t give in to Ashton at the drop of a hat and I loved Ashton’s persistence when it came to Kinsley, but I also loved how in tune with her he was and how he could sense that she was scared at times or hesitant and how protective he was of her and the extent he was willing to go to in order to protect her and fight for her.
I think the writing was really strong and the I really enjoy the author’s writing style. I have only ready two books by this author, but I have loved them both and definitely need to read/listen to more. I also loved Beckett and Knox so I need to read their stories too!!
I absolutely love Sarah Puckett as a narrator. She really brings the characters in the stories she narrates to life. She was great at Kinsley and even as Ashton and I really felt all the emotions of the story. I cannot recommend her enough!!! #AudiobookObsessionReviewer
