I adore all things Autre, Louisiana and the Landry family! I fell in love with the Landry’s when I found the Boys of the Bayou Gone Wild Series and knew I’d have to go back to the original series and really loved this sweet, steamy and fun story. The book begins with Josh and Tori meeting at a bar Josh is working at during Mardi Gras. They have an amazing connection but decide not to rush into bed together. Instead they agree if they are still on each other’s mind a year later they will meet up again. Tori is from Iowa and Josh Louisiana. One year later Tori is indeed back in town for her best friends wedding. I loved the connection between Josh and Tori. The moment they see each other again was the sweetest. Sparks are flying immediately. The Landry’s are all up in each other’s business and couldn’t help but need to know everything about this surprise woman that has captured Josh the way Tori has. Tori’s humorous, quirky side fit right in with the Landry women. There is a bit of drama between Tori, her best friend and his soon to be bride and Josh took it all in stride. He is the most protective, swoony southern man and I just love the way he adores Tori. The audiobook narration by Amanda Stribling and Neill Thorne was fantastic. Their pacing and delivery was terrific and kept me entertained and connected to the story from beginning to end. I am looking forward to checking out more books by these narrators in the future. I’m now throughly hooked on this Landry family and I cannot wait for the next book in the series.
