Taking an already accomplished character and having him work his way through a fleshed out world instead is nice to see in the world of farmboys to heros and isekai. While the MC is undeniably an arrogant dude, he also earned it and I love the way his flaws are brought to the forefront, right before doing some ridiculous wizarding.
As always with a crew like this, the audio performance is exceptional. I doubt I have to tell anyone that the line up of narrators is almost unfair. While I’m not 100% this is a SoundBooth Theater production, i know jeff and justin do a lot of work over there and encourage anyone to check it out. The work their doing is bringing something special to audio books.
