I have to start with a confession and a warning. This was my first listen in the series, and it is definitely NOT stand alone. It doesn’t have the world-building and character introductions you would normally expect to see. That said, I still thoroughly enjoyed the action, humor, playful banter, and sweet love. This is a pretty easy-going, low angst story, and I am definitely going to go back and look for the first two audiobooks in the series.
The narration was great with different voices and attitudes for the different characters. Great delivery and pacing.
