I really like this book and everything was good UNTIL I listened to Whisper and Kris is done without the strong accent and now I can’t listen to this one without cringing. It’s mostly because Whisper is so freaking good and so the language aspect of Kris is so meaningful that I just can’t reconcile the two performances with the same character.
