Frankly I’ll be sticking to this side of the storyline. It’s night and day different, and better than it’s counterpart narrated by Emily Zeller (the narration of that one is really good, it’s not the problem). Shadow and Sea just doesn’t work for me. It’s a dry, dark, adventure of a sociopath that doesn’t have the feel of an adventure story. The premise and the writing is there for the story to succeed, but it doesn’t.

In Sea and Shadow everything is there and it’s fantastic. I’ll probably check out the Zeller side of the next set of books again, but I am skeptical.

Also, can I get a 30 book series of the Adventures of Shuffles please?
