I absolutely loved this book! The author did such a wonderful job developing the characters that I found myself smiling and “awww”-ing outloud as relationships formed and grew throughout the story. The content kept me on the edge of my seat from the beginning and the narrator was absolutely top notch and engaging in her delivery. I also appreciate the author taking the opportunity to bring to light the very real and prevalent issue of human trafficking in her story. I don’t think many are aware that this issue occurs everywhere and that there are more than 40 million people enslaved worldwide. The statistics truly are staggering. I pray that through this story, others will seek ways they can work in their communities to end it. Check out enditmovement.com for ways to make a difference.
