The voice actors were great and really brought the characters to life. There were some laugh out loud moments (like the phone call scene) and it was a amusing take on the litrpg genre. But I’m not entirely certain how this can be a series – I felt by the end the plot was running out of steam and the next book will have to do some serious catchup in the world and character development department to give this story more purpose. Which in some ways will be a bit weird given how generally pointless the premise and ironically that is why it was an entertaining read. The main character has no agenda nor any direction. It just wants to mimic and eat. So I’ll be curious where this will go.
