Melody is a fairy whose uncle is determined to marry her off to whoever provides the most capital for him. Melody and her two sisters are orphans and each has a special gift…Melody is the oldest and feels she has no gift and lacks self esteem. She would do anything to protect her sisters. She is sent to earth to escape her marriage and according to one sister find her mate.
Dixon is a shifter who can’t shift and drinks and has sex to cover up his pain and insecurities…a fairy, Melody, falls on him from a portal and so begins their adventure. Likeable H and h, who struggle individually, but find strength and acceptance in each other….there are build ups to more stories…fun listens with a narrator who does a terrific job making me visualize he story and become attached to the characters!
