the ending was way too drawn out, with so many “twists” added in that they become expected like watching a boring tennis match.
I can’t quite put my finger on what else was off about the story. perhaps it’s that the series reads like a light hearted trilogy but the ending presented here was an “epic fantasy” of a conclusion. it just felt like too much.
still it’s worth listening to just to close out the series.
