I could not finish because I just did not get attached to the characters. The premise of the book is interesting, and frighteningly realistic, but I could not care enough about he characters to listen to the story. Plus it appears to be set mostly in New York, and I do not like New York. The only characters I did care about were the scientist’s two cats in Hawaii, but I did not listen long enough to find out if they made it through okay. I will just assume that they did because that makes me feel better.

I love Kevin Pierce, but even he could not get me to like this book.
