This was way longer than it needed to be. I couldn’t feel the bond btw the MCs. It didn’t feel natural. Their story felt disjointed. It took me almost 8 days to finish to this as opposed to 1-2 days. I’m not sure I’ll spend a credit on book 2 in the series
