Extreme gratuitous violence was unnecessary, I found it to be personally offensive.

Gratuitous violence was over the top. I am a retired military man, so I am not squeamish; however, the graphic violence was extreme and completely unnecessary. I can’t even give details on how bad this really was. I ignored some of the reviewers that pointed this out, and that was a huge mistake. They were spot on! I have never given a book a one star rating before, but this series definitely deserves it.
